Humanist weddings in Italy
Italy is a beautiful country, and a growing number of non-Italians choose it as a wonderful location for one of the best days in their life: the promise of sharing the future together.
UAAR, the only non-religious organization recognized by the Italian State, offers humanist celebrations to couples who want to share their joy and celebrate their union in the company of family and friends. We provide trained celebrants who can officiate in Italian and/or English.
Humanist weddings have no legal status and no religious content and this gives couples the privilege to freely choose a ceremony which is uniquely their own, tailor-made to suit and reflect their values and way of life and those of their kin and guests. There are no set rules: couples are free to make all the important choices about location, type of dress, readings, music and the wording of their promises to each other. Same-sex couples too can celebrate their commitment by having a humanist wedding ceremony.
Every humanist wedding is unique: build yours together with us!
